FIXMYSTREET IN LU7 2AS
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of LU7 2AS:
Mini Roundabout at Junction of Wing Road and Bunkers Lane, 14th May
The heavy traffic and heavy lorries on this busy road junction have worn away the road surface around the drain covers. At a mini roundabout this is very distracting for drivers increasing the risk of collision.
Note that the flag for the the pothole entitled Junction of Bunkers lane and Orchard Lane is incorrectly sited here on the map.

2 Potholes at junction of Wyngates and Cedars way, 14th May
Potholes at exact point Wyngates meets Cedars Way. Holles are quite deep and daunting when turning right into Wyngates. Lots of school children from the nearby school cross Wyngates at this excact point without paying attention and there's a definite risk that the distraction caused by the potholes will distract drivers.with potentially fatal consequence.

Mid-Road, junction of Cedars Way and Cedars Way slip Rd, 14th May
An old friend, this pot hole reappears every year and is quite deep. Recently filled, it will soon need to be addressed again given the volume of school traffic and school coaches/ buses that have to break at this very spot. Given the amount of work you have to address the potholes nearby you'd be silly not to address this too or it'll be back before the summer holidays.

End of Rock Lane turning circle, 14th May
The large depression holds water after rain which remains there until it evaporates in the sunshine. It has been present for many years and each winter the water freezes and causes cars to slip when turning. There is no drain at this point in the road. The only drain is at a higher point at the other side of the turning circle. I have been pressing the CBC to fix the problem for a long time and no action is taken to rectify the problem.

30 Clarence Road, 14th May
The tree on the grassland is killing part of my hedge as the tree is taking all of the water and causing part of my hedge to die off. Please could someone come and have a look at this situation as it is not just a case of overhanging branches which by the way is it possible to share the costs of hiring a tree surgeon as it is not my tree. The tree is doing damage to my head and also is dangerous in the Winter months as it covers the path and makes it very slippy and dangerous

Both pavements along Rosebery Avenue., 13th May
The condition of the pavements along Rosebery Avenue is deeply concerning. With numerous young children walking, biking, or riding scooters, as well as elderly residents who may struggle with balance, the deteriorating state of the pavements poses a significant risk. I've taken 40 photos documenting the issue on both sides of the pavement. It's truly disheartening that action hasn't been taken sooner, especially considering my 12 years of firsthand experience living in this area and witnessing the neglect of pavement maintenance. Urgent attention to this matter is crucial to prevent potential serious injuries. Your prompt consideration in addressing this issue is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Directly outside 63 Rosebery Avenue, 13th May
This significant hole in the pavement has been here for years (previously reported) and is getting progressively worse. This isn’t an isolated issue; the entire pathway up and down Rosebery Avenue is in urgent need of attention and repair. These are busy pathways, used by both young school children and elderly residents alike, and I believe it’s only a matter of time until a serious incident takes place. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Multiple holes along the whole of the pavement., 13th May
The overall state of the pavements throughout Rosebery Avenue is very poor. We have lots of younger children on bikes / scooters, along with more elderly residents who are unsteady on their feet.
This surely must be addressed before an awful injury occurs.
Thank you

Pothole on Junction is dangerous, 13th May
This pothole is on the northbound carriageway of Stoke Rd and is fairly central. It is difficult to avoid hitting the pothole when turning out of Old Linslade Road northbound onto Stoke Road. It is large enough to cause damage to a car wheel and distract drivers turning onto the road. Please investigate and repair.

Massive pothole; Again!, 13th May
There is a huge pothole on the northbound side of the road on the approach to the canal bridge (110). It was badly repaired earlier in the year, which did not last more than a few weeks. It is causing traffic to swerve into the path of oncoming vehicles that come over the canal bridge and cannot see the cars approaching them. This is dangerous to all road users and causes damage to vehicles. Please investigate and repair this issue.

Another pothole needs repairing in Old Linslade Road. It is on the Northbound side just before the entrance to the Cemetary. It is unavoidable if there is oncoming traffic and large enough to cause damage to a car, or worse to as cyclist. Please investigate and repair.
