A new pothole has developed over the last three months very close to another previously reported and repaired pothole. As the top of Allenby Avenue is a popular vehicle parking place it is sometimes necessary to drive in the centre of the road when turning in order to avoid hitting the pothole. This can be dangerous when other vehicles are approaching from the opposite direction.

Abandoned vehicle, 5th April
Car has been parked with 2 wheels on the pavement and 2 flat tyres since the end of February 2024 and not been moved. Silver VW KM55PMV near the first speed hump on Homedale Drive, Luton LU4 9TE after entering the road from Stoneygate Rd. On the even side of the road alongside the fence before the first bungalow.

Bollards removed., 26th March
Outside 69 Lewsey Road wooden bollard/s have been removed so the cars/vans can get access to the drivway and parking on the drop kerb/grass verge causing issues for people using the footpath. I ahve reported this before and if you look at Streetview you will see that the bollards were there so somebody has removed them.

Dozens of cars parked on Double Yellows and Loading only bays in Lewsey Road and Calnwood Road. No traffic wardens or what ever they are called now about.

Parked in middle of road, 25th March
This black BMW was parked in the middle of a narrow school road for over 15 mins, making it difficult for other drivers to access the road including a fire truck. Blocking my car in and also parking at an angle which was unsafe for passing vehicles.
