FIXMYSTREET IN SW1E 5EQ
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of SW1E 5EQ:
Hole in pavement where pavement block is missing, 1st May
There is a section of the pavement block work missing - as a result there is a deep hole more than 5cm. This needs replacing as it’s a trip hazard at present and weeds growing out of the ground. Looks like they ran out of material.

Human Faeces on Goodwins Court, 1st May
Once again we have HUMAN SHIT on Goodwins Court. It’s a very prominent tourist destination, with 100s of children, families and others visiting the alleyway daily. There are also new businesses trying to establish themselves in the alleyway, bringing more footfall. And there is constant piss and shit in the alley, usually left for days at a time. Can we please have more presence from the council on this street and cleaning done daily? I’m sick of walking out of my house and in to actual shit.

What has happened to the grass on Golden Square?, 30th April
Before the pandemic, the Council would at least replace one side of the grass on Golden Square. For the last few years, neither side has been replaced and it is simply a mess. There is dog poo everywhere. I have a dog and I avoid the square. The roses and the flowers are beautiful, but the grass used to be somewhere where people could congregate and sit comfortably. Now it is filthy, mainly dirt and unkept grass with glass and dog poo which is not cleaned up...It is very disappointing as this is the only piece of greenery near me.

Light destroyed last summer, 30th April
This light has been out of service since last summer, when it was destroyed one night in the early morning hours. It has been wrapped up like this ever since. There is no light where there should be, especially as this part of the street tends to invite people doing drugs just opposite late at night.

Torn Jacket, 30th April
Morning Reportit Team
While visiting Westminster I was walking along a street (See attached photo) I moved to the pavement side to allow another pedestrian to pass and brushed-off a parking sign. I was astonished to find that the sharp corner of the sign had torn a hole in my leather jacket. (See attached photo) I estimate that the jacket cost around £450 to £500 do Westminster Council provide a compensation scheme for these types of damages?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards Pete Boardman.
