Parking at teh Junction ref 151853, 26th April
Thank you for the reply to my report of a problem at this Junction. You are correct that it is not impossible for all turns to be made. However when there is a bus or even two cars wishing to turn right up Buckingham Palace Road no traffic can go ahead at the junction if there is a car parked. It would be so simple to make the last bit of road a double yellow line wouldn't it? I would be grateful if you could give this request further consideration.

Zebra Crossing Unsafe, 25th April
I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the lack of safety measures at the zebra crossing located on Chelsea Bridge Road. Despite its purpose to provide a safe passage for pedestrians, it has become increasingly hazardous due to the negligence of drivers who fail to yield to pedestrians. This morning, while crossing with my children to reach school, we experienced a terrifying incident. Despite being clearly on the crossing and making direct eye contact with the driver, they callously disregarded our presence and continued driving, endangering the lives of my children and myself.Such reckless behavior is unacceptable and poses a serious threat to the safety of pedestrians, especially children who rely on these crossings to commute to school. It is imperative that immediate action be taken to address this issue and enforce stricter regulations to ensure the safety of all road users.I urge you to investigate this matter promptly and implement necessary measures, such as increased signage, traffic enforcement, and public awareness campaigns, to prevent further incidents and promote pedestrian safety at Chelsea Bridge Road zebra crossing.Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.

The markings for the zigzag lines for the crossing are almost completely rubbed away, 24th April
I cycle past this place everyday. The zigzag lines marking the crossing are almost completely gone. These lines are also meant to mark the cycle lane. The problem and risk here is that cars don't see the lines and think that it's appropriate to stop just before the crossing obstructing the cycle lane pushing cyclists into live traffic. Also I've noticed taxi drivers who know that they shouldn't stop there, carry on ahead to stop on the bus stop but they do it while being on the cycle lane since they don't see the markings, again increasing risk for cyclists. The other issue to note on this photo, is the dropped curb to allow cyclist who want to turn right to mount the pavement. This is also being used by cars to mount the pavement and stop on the pedestrian area just to park or wait. One day a car wanting to get off the pavement reversed blind into me as I was on the cycle lane and another day I saw a car who wanted to use the dropped curb to get in the pavement cutting aggressively in front of another cyclist who was in the cycle lane. I think that some sort of bollards need to be put into place marking the limit of the cycle lane on the pavement to avoid cars using it as a ramp. This specific place is a high risk spot. Lots of cars try to park obstructing the cycle lane and there's lots of people trying to cross the street in the wrong place. Better lights will so help the situation.

Yellow Line appears to permit parking too close to the junction, 24th April
There is a single yellow line on the S E corner of the junction between Ebury Bridge and Buckingham Palace Road. This results in cars being parked almost on the junction thus inhibiting traffic flow over the junction from Warwick Way to Pimlico Road if there is traffic wishing to turn right.
