Appropriation by private business of public street architecture, 15th May
Railings around the dock have been cloaked in astroturf by the Rafayel Hotel and remained like this in spite of concerted protest from local residents. This intervention is not approved and is completely out of keeping with the riverside location. It introduces a substantial quantity of plastic, shedding microplastics directly into the river, and needs to be removed asap.

Despite polite requests to remedy this situation the problems remain and need to be rectified by the authorities before residents take matters into their own hands.

Walks signal does not beep at night, 9th May
The walk signal at this intersection beeps when the green walk signal is on. This seems to only happen during daylight hours and is deactivated at night. I have vision issues and need the audio cue to tell me when to cross at night. It’s dangerous and to turn off the audio cue for the walk signal during the nighttime hours. Please turn it on.

Traffic light visibility and pedestrian crossing visibility, 8th May
While picking up my son from Wandsworth Town station, I witnessed a car run through a red light in front of the station. Though it is clearly the driver's responsibility to stop, please note that both traffic light visibility and pedestrian crossing visibility are hampered by several things: the fencing around the outdoor seating area for The Alma Pub (which takes up the sidewalk, as well as part of the crossing), the planter with the street signs, the large tree, and at some point these will be joined by open table umbrellas). Children cross here to get to school to the train and they often have to look around the fencing to determine whether or not bikes or cars are coming. Please improve the visibility for the sake of pedestrians.

Southern end of Cedars Road, missing dropped kerbs, 8th May
At the southern end of Cedars Road there are two side-turnings, one on each side of Cedars Road with high kerbs on both the north and south side of the turnings. Because there are no dropped kerbs here, it is impossible for a wheelchair user to progress along Cedars Road at this point. These side-turnings lie outside the zone covered by TfL red routes and are therefore the responsibility of the Borough of Lambeth. The streets are for everyone, and this includes wheelchair users. Please add dropped kerbs at these four locations.
