The grass verge isn’t cut properly and what is cut is left over parked cars on the kerb side, 5th May
The way in which the grass verge is maintained needs to be reviewed. As normal someone comes along with a strimmer and makes a half hearted attempt to trim the grass, paying little attention to the pavement edge, kerb or around trees. That person is then followed by a person with an air blower that either pushes the cut grass into the road or into house drives or paths.
The cut grass remains to either be flushed into the drains when it rains or walked into our homes or cars.
This week our roadside kerbs were cleaned on Tuesday and grass cut on Friday which is completely the wrong way around.
Can this process be revised and checked, perhaps the grass verges along our street need to be removed, in the way they have on other streets to provide a better solution.

Car with no rear licence plate, 4th May
The car is not abandoned but I couldn't find another section to report the matter. The car is normally parked on the small estate in the early mornings and during evenings, from 18:00/19:00 and onwards. The owner has been driving the car with no rear licence plate for about three weeks now and it is illegal for a vehicle to be on the roads without both plates.

Many trees in that (and surrounding) roads with excessive base growth., 4th May
In my personal experience, the council is adamant that trees have precedence over residents’ requirements. However they are not looking after them and now the excessive base growth is encroaching across the pavements and into the roads. This, of course, will get worse as the growing season progresses. I have attached 3 photos, although there are many, many others that need attention as the trees become bushes and soak pedestrians, or scratch small children's faces as they pass by. The pavements are already severely damaged by root growth around the area, the new street lights no longer light pavements adequately, and so for the elderly and children in particular, walking is becoming more hazardous, especially at night.

Lots of fly tipping in the alleyway! Large pieces of wood have been dumped and black bin bags!!, 3rd May
This alleyway is being used for lots of fly tipping. Bin bags, large pieces of wood and rubbish have been dumped. This is preventing access for residents to their garages and nothing is being done about this.

Wheelie bins left on pavements, 3rd May
Please could the bin men put our wheelie bins back in place inside the bin rooms as they leave all of them outside on the pavements and this is a risk as our older residents are not able to pull them back in place inside the bin room and leaving it outside on the pavement is a hazard for them. This has continued for the whole year and no one is doing anything. This occurs around the 12.40-1pm collection on Wednesday.
