Pavement collapsing into building site. Dangerous hole in the pavement, 6th May
The construction site had excavated up to the street without a retaining wall in place. The ground is sliding into the building site. A visually impaired person or a child could easily fall into this hole using serious injury or death. Lambeth Council you cannot do your usual thing and come up with excuses do do nothing about this for months.

The side of the building site at 77 Alexandra Drive/Hawke Road has collapsed, meaning that the hoardings have buckled and there is now a hole in the pavement. It has got worse over the day and this morning it was possible to see earth falling into the site. It's possible it will get worse and is dangerous.
