Area of Japanese Knotweed, 24th April
The photos show a Japanese Knotweed plant sticking out over the pavement opposite the trash screen in the River Quaggy. This one is obvious but there are many others of this invasive plant behind it in the wooded area running along Mottingham Lane. There are lots of dry stalks showing that it was there last year so it's only going to spread even more if nothing is done to stop it.
