FIXMYSTREET IN N21 2NE
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of N21 2NE:
2 Morrisons trolleys in the river and more around the streets, 26th April
We have in the order of 10 Morrisons trolleys constantly roaming around our streets. 2 are now in the river and are a clear unaddressed antisocial behaviour. Also a treat to local wildlife. This has been reported several times to the council and to the local Morrisons with no action taken. Please ensure trolleys cannot be easily taken away from the shop premises and come collect the many around before there is a serious accident involving cars and people.

Illegal parking a regular problem, 25th April
People routinely park on the double yellow lines and pavement opposite the entrance to Waitrose. This forces the elderly, disabled and people with prams into the road to pass near a busy and dangerous junction. Enforcement of the nearby controlled parking zone (operating 10.30-11.30) happens daily, but nobody ever seems to get a ticket for parking illegally any other time.

JJ roofing Hoppers road enabled to litter the streets, 17th April
I have complained about the actions of this store for five years now. The owners, staff and customers throw rubbish onto the street each day - much of it hazardous - including builders waste, packaging, bottles of urine, and regularly plastic gloves. Today I picked up the gloves - a hazard to wildlife - and found myself covered in blood that was on one of the gloves. The council of Enfield are bankrupt and have no front line services and do not investigate or prosecute. When they did on one occasion they deemed it not to be a problem. Street cleaning on this road is atrocious and errant so I do it each day. I pick up filthy materials because the store and the council will not.

Enfield streets not safe for women, 17th April
Over the five years of the current administration, all male coffee establishments have over populated Enfield’s high streets. Large groups of men sit outside them on the pavement smoking, standing in the middle of the pavement and leering at women. Police reports have been made, which the council will know of, regarding young girls being sexually harassed walking past. Rather than getting to grips with this, the council are encouraging more and more and women in Enfield find themselves living in no go areas. Now there is such a large establishment in Winchmore Hill - the second one now - allowing men to spill out onto this streets, sitting and standing outside and harassing women struggling to get past, I had reported this already and was told by the council that this is not a problem, ignorant of sexual harassment law.
