These images shows two different potholes on whipps cross road, 22nd April

Mon, 22 Apr 2024 20:12:04 +0100

The potholes on whipps cross road have been here for over 3months and have progressively been getting worse. This section of whipps cross road operates a bus lane on the opposite lane, therefore swerving or trying to avoid them is not a option. Regarding this issue, on the 12th of April 2024 around 5:50am i was joining whipps cross road after coming off the greenman roundabout and driven over these potholes causing a loud bang to occur from my suspension. After taking it to the garage on the next available slot 20th of april it was diagnosed that My cars coil and springs had been damaged and urgent replacement had to be fitted. The images shown are two different drainage holes that the asphalt had broken away at, the holes proximity is 20feet of eachother

Still no reply to complaint sent 19 August 2021, again on 24 September 2021, on the 10 April 2022, on the 5 July 2023, again on 12 August 2023 and again on the 21 February 2024 (FixMyStreet ref: 5609993). Here are two very small Public Spaces Protection Order Notices. The one at the end of Guildford Road is so high up it cannot be read. The other along the pathway (by the side of Wadham Bridge) is now smeared with black paint. Can something be done about these useless signs which nobody takes any notice of even if they could be read. We continue to have drug dealing gangs and unsociable behaviour in this particular area.

Mon, 25 Mar 2024 15:54:07 +0000
51.600017 -0.002515

As of today we again have fresh graffiti (including swear words) under Wadham Bridge, along the wall of the pathway (end of Guildford Road), including defacing mural on wall. Also on walls around Forest Community Centre, Guildford Road (Waltham Forest Council property). The previous graffiti has still NOT been removed despite being reported numerous times. Young children use this facility and this needs to be removed and a long-term solution found to stop it reoccurring. I keep reporting this - 26 January 2024 (FixMyStreet ref: 5496205) and 1 December 2023 (FixMyStreet ref: 5273272).

'Abandoned' moped parked in a way that removed a whole parking space., 29th February

Thu, 29 Feb 2024 17:41:01 +0000
51.581398 -0.001824

Moped parked between 2 parked cars in late November / early December 2023. It has not moved since. It has remained covered since so its VRN cannot be read. Due to how it originally parked -in the gap left between 2 parked cars -enough space for each car to be able to pull out, the moped has now effectively-removed an entire parking space in a CPZ zone which is in heavy use. It has also made it dangerous to park in front and behind it when other vehicles are parked it is parked diagonally -increasing the risk of hitting other vehicles.
