FIXMYSTREET IN E11 2DB
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of E11 2DB:
These images shows two different potholes on whipps cross road, 22nd April
The potholes on whipps cross road have been here for over 3months and have progressively been getting worse. This section of whipps cross road operates a bus lane on the opposite lane, therefore swerving or trying to avoid them is not a option. Regarding this issue, on the 12th of April 2024 around 5:50am i was joining whipps cross road after coming off the greenman roundabout and driven over these potholes causing a loud bang to occur from my suspension. After taking it to the garage on the next available slot 20th of april it was diagnosed that My cars coil and springs had been damaged and urgent replacement had to be fitted. The images shown are two different drainage holes that the asphalt had broken away at, the holes proximity is 20feet of eachother

There is a bad pothole here, actually more than one., 18th April
Pothole in a position that can't be avoided and at 40mph it caused a very bad thump on my car. I can see from old google streetview pictures that the repair done here wasn't compact enough and there were gaps in the ashphalt so I suggest making a claim on the insurance of the previous firm who worked on it instead of forking out tax payers money.

10 inch pothole, 6th March
We were driving along the A12 northbound in the tunnel under the Greenman Interchange. I hit a pothole and my car was damaged, breaking the alloy on my front passenger wheel and damaging the tyre, not repairable on the passenger back wheel. I called RAC, who provided me with a report. We also contacted a mobile tyre company who replaced the tyre. We had to pay £360.00 for a tyre. It’s a 23 inch tyre on a Range Rover Sport. We’ve now sent the alloy away to hopefully be repaired at a big cost. If this cannot be repaired and safe to use, then we’ll have to get a set of 4 new alloys as the ones we have are no longer manufactured. I can provide many pictures of the pot hole, a receipt from the tyre company, a report of the damage / fault caused to the car/ wheels/ tyres, provided by RAC. I will be able in providing either a receipt of the work to fix the alloy (if can be fixed and safe to use) or I’ll provide a receipt for a set of the replaced alloy wheels. This incident happened around 09:00 Sunday 3rd March 2024. We were travelling as a family with a young child aboard. This was extremely scary for us all.

Unlawful parking in a private bay used for locals to turn around safely on our close., 23rd December
The issue is mindless parking wanting to go to the local pub/party is not acceptable. I was unable to turn my van around late last night, due to people parking wherever they feel and not understanding how the road works. We all use the dip to turn around. It was blocked by this car.
