National speed limit past our property despite last street lamp of the village adjacent. People speeding past., 20th April
We live on the outskirts of Bethel, Caernarfon on Tre Gof road. Before our property from the village it is a 30mph speed limit, and about half a mile of speed bumps. The 30mph changes to the national speed limit just before our property despite there being the last street light of the village adjacent to our property. People put their foot down having been driving slowly over the speed bumps and speed past our house. It is a big problem as we have increasingly independent children, their friends who constantly visit, there is no pavement. There are several new properties being built along the road so increased traffic. Many pedestrians with dogs, Prams, small children, cyclists, occasional horses etc. The road is 60mph and people will do that speed and more even though it is clearly not suitable to do so (single track lane, scarce passing places) as it is a straight road. It is an accident waiting to happen. I have spoken to my past local councilor, he arranged an officer from Gwynedd roads dept - to come and see the problem in February 2022. He agreed that it was indeed a problem and that it would be sorted the next month (March 2022) we are still waiting. I spoke to our new councilor regarding this around 6 months ago, she contacted the same roads officer again who said they had all materials ready for the job, yet again, we are still waiting. I am terrified that someone will get hurt or even killed.

Hedges overgrown into road, 18th May
This issue arises on a regular basis where the hedges are overgrown and forcing larger vehicles across the white lines. The highway is narrow here at the best of times. Large vehicles are losing mirrors from these hedges and companies will start to claim the damage from the council / landowner if this issue isnt rectified quickly

Streetlighting, 24th January
Drivers here at arriva have noted the existing street lighting column by the bus stop immediately outside cerrig yr afon is not currently functioning and hasnt for a few weeks.
Drivers have also requested/suggested that a new column be provided near to the layby bus stop on the opposite side of the road as this stop is currently in total darkness at night and its not safe to cross such a fast road at night

Overgrown hedges, 10th August
Our drivers here at arriva have noted issues with overgrown hedges at this section of the road through felinheli.
The issue is compounded with parked cars on the opposite side making the road narrower.
We have repeatedly seen damage to wing mirrors on our vehicles as the frequently brush through the hedges.

Damaged Speed Bumps, 12th July
The speed bumps near the school have degraded to such an extent that the buses are catching the top of the cushions and being damaged. Passengers are at risk of falls on the bus. The speed cushions have been unsuitably patched repaired, which has not lasted, and previous damage is still evident.
