Obstruction right of way and an eyesore, 21st September
Anglesey Arms have erected a barrier by using a rope and poles around the outside of the building. This obstructs easy passage through to the promenade, which is now only gained via a narrow gap. They should not be allowed to commandeer the area this way. It makes social distancing between people when passing through the narrow passage difficult when it's busy. It is also an eyesore, in an area which has World Heritage Status.

Where are we t park our vehicles if the planning goes ahead by Gwynedd Council, 6th August
5th August 2021.
So, Caernarfon Council has decided to propose a planning application to further restrict the parking problem at Market Street Caernarfon.
The proposed restriction is 1 hour parking with no return within that 1 hour ! (WHY).
Who in their right mind would suggest such an application ? Where are the resident’s going to park their vehicles? ( Church Street ?) If we can find a space, I know that the residents of Church Street would object to this.
Has the Council made any risk assessment with reference to the changes? People moving in and out of parking spaces increases the risk of serious accidents, there are many elderly and small children living in this street. How will the elderly manage moving their vehicle then trying to find another parking space (They won't as all adjacent streets are either full, or have yellow lines) This proposal will be a nightmare for all at Market Street.
Has the Council considered further pollution, traffic noise, constant congestion, lorries trying to pass when we park our vehicles, many times I have seen lorries and vehicles speeding along on the pavement when we try to park, many a time I have seen small children playing in the street.
Has the Council considered alternative parking for the resident ? If not , why not ? Where are we to park our vehicles?
The Government has taken steps towards reduction in pollution and to end the sales of petrol and diesel cars by 2030,the Government will encourage people to buy electric vehicles, has the Council considered as to whoever buys an electric vehicle and the home charging scheme that has been proposed by the Government, where are we to charge our vehicles? it takes a few hours to charge an electric vehicle
What will the Council gain by this ? I believe that the person that thought of this proposed scheme has not thought this through, (You the Council are causing a lot of stress and anxiety to the residents of Market Street).
The 1 hour parking restriction will not benefit the residents of Market Street, so my question is (WHY). Has this been proposed ? DS.

Parked cars on road either side of junction are a hazard, 14th July
In the last few months several cars are parked all day along the side of Lon Cae Ffynnon outside our compound (Units 30-37). They are a hazard when pulling out of the compound as the view of oncoming traffic in either direction is restricted.
It's also a hazard to delivery vehicles turning into the compound as well as traffic travelling along the road as one lane is taken up with the parked cars, traffic turning down hill often have to stop on the main junction (between Grahams and VOSA, opposite side of the road) to let vehicles coming up the road pass.
There are also often cars parked just around the corner, opposite the VOSA site, again somewhat restricting the view when pulling out of the junction and forcing one to pull out and straight onto the wrong side of the road in order to pass them.
Maybe some double yellow lines are needed.
