Large potholes and loose surface due to poor repair a few years ago. Lane floods because ditches at side of road need clearing. Lane desperately needs resurfacing- contractors are due to resurface A470 this month at the end of our lane so why can't the lane be done too? The lane is dangerous- signs put out saying 'uneven surface' when I complained previously have been moved/broken too. Please do something about this., 7th March

Lane is in desperate need of repair/resurfacing before an accident is caused., 30th March

Single track road with unsatisfactory temporary repairs made a few years ago. These repairs are crumbling away at the sides of the lane, leaving large potholes and areas of rough crumbling concrete on the Tarmac. This is highly dangerous for cyclists, (this lane is part of the national cycle route), pedestrians and cars. Hitting these areas in a car can cause loss of control potentially ending up in the ditches or walls. The sides of the lane are also overgrown with retaining walls crumbling in places- this makes it difficult to find places wide enough to pass oncoming traffic. The lane needs permanent repair and complete resurfacing for at least one mile from the bottom where it joins the A470. I contacted the Council via our local MP (E Llwyd) over 2years ago expressing my concerns and was told the lane was due for resurfacing. To date nothing has been done. Please repair and resurface our lane before a serious accident occurs.

There is a huge crop of wild knotweed growing rampant in an empty plot next to my back garden (14 pen y garreg) The plant is now encroaching into my garden and is slowly invading neighbouring properties also. The problem has been steadily growing worse over a number of years. And it is now uncontrollable.

Toilet block in Trawsfynydd, 28th July

Mon, 28 Jul 2014 23:09:18 +0100
52.9021396612003 -3.92253366668703

Hello. My friend and I had cause to visit the public toilets in Trawsfynydd last week. Mt friend wanted to use the disabled toilet for which he has a key. The key would not operate correctly in the lock and got stuck. It was only after a lot of jiggling and not a little cursing that we were able to recover the radar key. There was also no way of locking the door from inside. We did not feel safe using the toilet so my friend used the able bodied toilet. It is clear from the state of the lock that there has been damage done to the mechanism by someone and not recently either. This matter needs urgent attention. I must also add that the toilet bock in general is in a very poor state.

Cars are parking outside the village hall and the road is only wide enough for one vehicle, this means residents are unable to use this road. The road needs to be provided with double yellow lines as this road should be accessible at all times

Obstruction of road access, 1st November

Tue, 01 Nov 2011 13:47:01 +0000
52.902335 -3.923479

I visited the village with my elderly mother who was attending an event at the Trawsfynydd hall, due to a red van parking in the road we could not get our car close enough to the entrance to allow my mother to walk into the hall, she has severe arthritis and this did not help at all. I spoke to a member of the village who said they would like double yellow lines on the road outside as the lane is only big enough for one vehicle and the van is always parked up blocking the road, Thank you Rhiannon Jones

Two adjoining properties on Chapel Street are in very bad disrepair and have become a danger to the public. The property has boarded up for a number of years and the owner does not live in the village, The property has not been maintained and slates are now falling from the roof. Members of the village have contacted the Snowdonia National park but they have no powers to ensure the property is looked after to a reasonable level. We are hoping the council may be able to help
