There is a big screw broken off and sticking out of the pavement. I stood on it yesterday; people walk barefoot here a lot because the beach is just over the road. It is dangerous!

Broken benches on path to Penbryn Bandstand, 18th December

Wed, 18 Dec 2013 15:09:04 +0000
52.5478 -4.02019

In Aberdovey there is a hill with a bandstand on top of it, with views across the town and the bay. I think it's called Penbryn Bandstand. If you walk up the public footpath from Prospect Place you'll see two broken benches next to the path just before you get to the top of the hill and the bandstand. I attach a photo; they are both very very broken, like they're about to fall down!

Travelling south on A493 , turn right on side road between Neuadd Dyfi Hall and public toilets, pass under bridge (onto caravan site) footpath immediately ahead through to beach. There is a broken top fence horizontal on left hand side as walking to beach which has sharp pointed edge (covered up with can and plastic bag to protect from injuring).
