Road is hardly passable, 21st September

The road which runs through Tai Isa yard is disappearing making it very narrow and only passable with care. The road then towards Meifod farm from the junction to Boced is in a terrible state with deep potholes and the road surface is breaking down all the way to Meifod Farm. To prevent damage to vehicles it is only passable with great care. This is the main route to Denbigh from Cyffylliog without having to make a 12 mile diversion through Ruthin.

Road barely passable, 23rd November

The road from Hendre Llan, Cyffylliog past Rhwng Ddwy Afon, through Tai Isa Farmyard and up the Conquest joining the road to Saron at Meifod Farm. It is in a terrible state of repair with potholes, a really uneven bumpy surface, the road is disappearing in Tai Isa, it is getting to the point where the road is almost impassable in a car due to the state of it. When it rains it constantly floods at the bridge at Rhwng Ddwy Afon and at Tai Isa. It really is absolutely horrendous to travel along. It is also full of leaf mould which is blocking the roads causing the rain water run off to flood the roads. To travel from Hendre Llan to Denbigh is 7 miles. The alternative route is to drive to Ruthin and then to Denbigh which is 14 miles. In this day and age of high fuel costs and high maintenance costs for the vehicles which are getting battered having to drive along this route we in the rural areas are being penalised again. There have also been no salt piles delivered along this route this year and already winter is upon us.
