Road signs, 28th July
From the crossroads at Maestreylow, travelling towards Whitton on the B4357, almost everyone drives at excessive speed not realising that there is 1. a concealed drive and 2.Grove Bridge in this short stretch of road. These 2 hazards are accidents waiting to happen with either someone coming round the corner and hitting one of the occupants of the 2 properties there trying to enter onto the highway from the concealed drive or 2 cars meeting on the narrowed road where it crosses the bridge, (or worse still, a tractor and a car colliding).
Please could the Council (Highways Department) put some warning signs up for people to slow down and warning 'oncoming traffic in the middle of the road' or 'road narrows' or indeed anything which may make people drive more carefully, before someone is killed.
