Frequent flooding, 4th March

Mon, 04 Mar 2024 03:08:19 +0000
53.618665 -2.940002

The flooding blocks footpaths, postman struggles, cars drive past and the water splashes up at the windows and door leaving muddy mess meaning we can't open the windows. Costing us frequent window/front clean. Flooding the main BT service hole causing the net to drop, no 3/4G mobile signal means we rely on the net to make calls etc. Blocked drains and stagnant smell affects house internally. This has been constant since we moved in Feb 2022. Is worsening and is unsightly. Flood across both drains carr Cross entrance which is Snape Green new builds.

Two separate locations of fly-tipping/dumping of furniture., 27th May

53.624588 -2.925283

Along the lane (Woodmoss Lane,Bescar,Scarisbrick there are two locations where upholstered furniture has been fly-tipped/dumped. The sofa had cushions but they would appear to be in the drainage ditch. The two chairs are sited in the trees. The sofa has been there for several weeks now and the chairs for approximately 2 weeks. Is this the byproduct of the borough councils decision to levy unrealistic charges coupled to extended collection times ? The next thing will be heaps of garden was being dumped in plastic bags/sacks.
