Multiple potholes and deteriorating road surface, 19th December
Multiple potholes and deteriorating road surface which is becoming very dangerous for cyclists. Either end of the road on Winifred Road had a complete new road surface earlier this year but this section was omitted.

Persistent dog fouling on grass verge, 10th January
Persistent dog foul left on grass verge on South East side, meaning anyone parking on the road and stepping across the verge onto the pavement is liable to step in it. This has been going on for many months.

Switched off Pedestrian Crossing Lights, 9th September
These lights were switched off on Monday 7th September whilst temporary works were carried out at the junction of the A59 (Liverpool Road/Holborn Hill) and Long Lane in Aughton. Temporary 3-way traffic lights were put in place whilst the works were completed, the pedestrian lights on the A59 switched off to facilitate this. However the works were completed on the day and the temporary lights also removed, but the pedestrian lights have stayed switched off This location is yards away from a Primary School, a short distance from a High School and on a busy route for dog walkers all of whom cross with the lights all day - difficult to cross without the cross due to the heavy congestion on the A59! It is also approximately 40 ft from a speed camera (which we know are only placed at hazardous locations). Is it a serious hazard with the lights off, and could easy result in a fatality if not put right ASAP!
