Road is breaking up, 21st February
Virgins Lane road surface, between the first field gate to beyond Cottage farm, is breaking up. This seems mainly due to the water run off from the field that streams toward Ormskirk Lodge. There are also pot holes directly outside Cottage Farm. One was ‘fixed’ last week but has the repair has failed and the surface is breaking up again.

Traffic light Sequence, 21st February
Hi, I work for Arriva and have received multiple reports about traffic light issues at Buckley hill and Gorsey lane. Traffic lights from Buckley hill have a filter light that follows with the lights at Gorsey lane. When the lights for the right turn to Edge Lane change the Lights at fire station are holding through traffic. This is causing congestion across the junction stopping vehicles travelling towards Fleetwood lane out of Edge Lane.

Damage to verges, 4th February
Cars are being driven between bollards meant for ensuring areas are for pedestrians only. The grass verges are being churned into mud and vehicles driven along large stretches of clearly pedestrian paths, in order for lazy drivers to park outside their houses. Additionally, a concrete bollard has been damaged and removed to facilitate this.

Fly tipping, 24th January
This road is a favourite amongst fly tippers and has been reported several times already. There are some blue bags containing what looks like roofing (possibly asbestos) and plenty of other litter. Another pile of black bags appears to contain Cannabis plants and grow bags, another load of bags contains dirty diapers. Surely these things are a health hazard?
