Not a safe room to navigate left turn, 16th April
Cars can legally park quite close to the junction of Sandringham Road/Cambridge Road, making the left turn from Sandringham Road to Cambridge Road difficult. Could you please consider extending the yellow parking restriction floor markings past the grid shown on the picture towards the white car, this would allow more space to make the turn.

Council staff removing childrens play park apparatus (rope slide), 5th January
Until 2019 there was a fantastic rope slide here and was by far the most used piece in the childrens playpark. It was fully working yet was removed by the council and has never been reinstated since. This has begun happening to a large number of children's play park features here at this park for them to never be returned. It is increasingly frustrating for local residents to slowly watch as Sefton's premiere play park is slowly stripped of all its swings, tyre sways, rope walks, rope slide, benches and tyre basket and these incidents relate just to this one park! There is hardly anything left now with half of the play features now removed by the council and mirthless wooden frames being the only sad reminder of a park that was once the best one in the Borough. The council should not be instructing the removal of these working park features if they have no plan to replace them immediately. Please reinstate these park features with immediate effect at least if only for the sake of the children in the Borough .

Children's Merry-Go-Round desperately in need of maintenance, 5th January
Please could a council maintenance guy come and service this merry-go-round as it desperately needs greasing. (Clue: You’ll need a security Torx bit to access the centre hub where you put the grease.) Unless you qualify as a 20-stone body builder you are unlikely to be able to push your kids on this for more than 10 seconds before getting a hernia. Now this isn’t a call for the council to simply do what they have been unofficially doing with the rest of the park and to use whatever excuse to remove childrens play park apparatus until there is nothing left.
This has begun happening to a large number of children's play park features here at this park for them to never be returned. It is increasing frustrating for local residents to slowly watch as Sefton's premiere play park is slowly stripped (by its own council staff) of all its swings, tyre sways, rope walks, rope slide, benches and disability swings and these incidents relate just to this one park! There is hardly anything left now with half of the play features now removed by the council and mirthless wooden frames being the only sad reminder of a playpark that was once the best one in the Borough.

Half dozen tyre swings removed by council staff from childrens playpark, 5th January
Until April 2023 there was half a dozen tyre swings in the childrens playpark hanging from this structure until council staff came and removed them. They were working and there was nothing wrong with them to justify their removal and my son used to enjoy visiting this park each week and play on these. The council should not be instructing the removal of these working park features if they have no plan in place to replace them immediately. Please reinstate these park features with immediate effect at least if only for the sake of the children in the Borough. Its shameful what this council are doing to this park.

Removed park bench, 5th January
The council dug up a large section of the green space October last year and re-surfaced without re-instating the park bench that used to be here. This was popular with the public and a good resting spot from the road for people who had limited mobility. Please kindly reinstate the bench you have removed from this spot back to its original location
