From Hemingby Lane to the end of the 40 mph zone, 28th April
Despite at least two recent refills of some of the deeper potholes along this stretch of road, there are still multiple potholes remaining. These will get worse. These are still big enough to damage cars. These are still big enough to necessitate driving in the middle of the road to avoid them in places. Please resurface the road properly. Please do NOT waste tax payers money on superficial patches.

The whole length of the carriageway in High street (between Bridge Street and St. Lawrence Street) is in a dreadful state, with numerous ruts, potholes and various patch up repairs which have degraded. The pedestrian crossing road markings (adjacent to Perkins Newsagents) are almost non existent. A repair to the road surface, at the crossing, carried out last week, is already breaking up.

B1191/Jubilee Way Junction, 26th April
Permit DY6112447391
The details mentioned suggest the path should be unaffected, however its currently 6ft deep and completely inaccessable. It has been reported that these are "emergency works" and so there was no warning of them, however they were prepared for them as the fencing around the substation was removed at least 1-2 months ago and replaced with temporary barrier fencing. There was a lorry loading this morning blocking a large portion of access from the bottom of Langton Hill.
The town is in complete chaos, with it backing up over a mile multiple times in the last week, and the workers are of no help.
The traffic lights are also on manual control, as we have seen workers walk up and push a button numerous times to change the lights, adding to the chaos.
With it being right outside the school, this is causing issues at start and leave times as there are 15+ buses bringing in students that are suddenly getting the lights changed on them, and blocking junctions. They've been here for a week, and are supposed to be here for another week, but the chaos its causing is unacceptable and completely unnecessary

Road closure @ Prospect Street, 24th April
There have been some brief works here (signs said closure 23rd to 25th?) But they have been completed within one day. There appears to be no reason for the road to be closed still, other than because it's being used as a storage area for the collapsed barriers.....
The main problem with this still being closed is that the diversion is sending you straight into major works with 4-way temporary traffic lights at the west street/jubilee way junction. Those works are causing complete chaos in their own right without adding more traffic to it!
Can this closure please be cleared ASAP

Works at junction of west street/jubilee way, 23rd April
National grid roadworks arrived without warning at this major junction, using 4 way temporary traffic lights with added pedestrian freestanding lights -it's causing traffic chaos within the town itself as well as major issues with the school buses etc at the Grammar School caught up in it .
One issue highlighted is the permit issued says no footpath closure, but the footpath (alongside substation) is currently non-existent, having been excavated to a great depth to apparently access underneath the sub station.
