Pothole on road/cycleway problem, 12th February
I was driving away from the a158 and i had to pull to the side of the road as there was a branch in the carriageway. The car slipped into the pothole and i heard a very loud clunk as my car bounced and realised that my suspension spring had snapped. I returned to the a158 and as i drove through hatton past the old midge pub i smelt something like rubber burning. Moments later the tyre popped as the spring had popped it. The car veered to the left and i have to control it onto the left hand verge of the carriageway. Just past the gas works.

Illegaly erected fencing, 7th December
The grass verge that should be part of the roadway has been fenced in by the neighbouring property as part of a land grab.
I reported this two years ago, and you said there had indeed been an offence and were taking action, but two years later the situation on the ground is unchanged. I still cannot walk on the verge beside the road beacuse of the "Esate" style fencing that has been illegally erected. Two years ago you investigated, and said be patient it may take some time enforce, but that was two whole years ago and you appear to have done nothing.
Please explain why, after two years , the fencing you agreed was illegal, is still there.
