FIXMYSTREET IN LN8 5QD
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of LN8 5QD:
Culvert bridge off Hoop Lane Langton by Wragby, leading to Langton Hill Farm LN8 5QD, 25th March
Following reconstruction earlier this year to the culvert a safety rail was put in place , replacing the former hedge. This only has one safety bar at the top leaving a dangerous drop on to concrete should a child/adult or animal get off the road for any reason. I reported this to the Highways Dept Ref:4190725 on February 19 2014

Major Ruts, serious risk of vehicle damage, 13th February
This pothole was reported in incident #397826. A repair was carried out in a different location and the incident closed. I reported it as not complete and still an issue and the incident was then closed to updates. These ruts are a serious risk to vehicles seeking to pass, especially now traffic has increased following the opening of the "Ocean Walker Academy" on the lane. The mains water pipe to the property on the south side of Hoop lane only travels under the verge at this point and is at risk of damage. Please review.
