On the side of the road just before middle field lane turning, 17th April
There are some large potholes on the side of the road by middle field lane. With parking in the road it makes it difficult to get past. If I was to go in the pot hole there would be lots of damage.

Middlefield Lane, Glentham, 15th April
There are numerous potholes on Middlefield Lane and they are becoming dangerous. When it has been raining it is impossible to judge how deep they are. For anyone with back problems driving along there is not good. At night it is very difficult walking along as the lighting is inadequate

Multiple pothols but worse near Birchwood and toward Bishop Norton Road, 15th April
There is no footpath in Middlefield Lane so pedestrians are forced to navigate multiple potholes which are a fall-hazard - especially for elderly, infirm or young children - the most vulnerable inhabitants.

Outside Birchwood on, 15th April
Approximately 30cm x 30cm is just one hole, but the whole width of the road from Birchwood to the junction from Bishop Norton road is disgraceful. It is hard to walk down this stretch of road, let alone drive down it without encountering a pothole. There is no footway so we have to walk continually through puddles and holes and my husband has to walk with a crutch since recently being discharged from hospital. This is an ongoing problem for residents living on Middle field Lane. Is there a program to resurface the whole lane? We have lived on Middlefield Lane for six years and the road never gets sorted.

Dangerous road surface, 14th March
This road is dangerous for vehicles and pedestrians as there is no pavement and at night little lighting, Run off from the verges leaves the road continually wet leading to ice in the cold weather. It is difficult to understand why Barf Lane was completely resurfaced which has little traffic whilst Middlefield Lane which gives access to numerous properties is left in such a poor state.

Middlefield Lane dangerous, 14th March
I can only send three photos but I have many. The WHOLE of Middlefield Lane is in a shocking dangerous state. I sent a complaint after I was informed the work had been completed but all that happened was a couple of patches at the entrance to Middlefield Lane, the lane itself wasn't touched. I have had no follow up to my complaint so I am starting again. It is beyond me why men and equipment were sent to a location and nothing worthwhile happened. Please come and look and then resolve this very long standing issue is resolved. Thank you. John

Dangerous and inconsiderate parking., 3rd March
Very frequent car parking at and near the junction of Middlefield Lane off Bishop Norton Rd. The cars invariably park not only close to the junction but also on the pavement. This results in obstructing the way for pedestrians especially with prams and those with mobility aids. Also there is a real danger of an accident caused by the obstruction to the line of sight of cars exiting Middlefield Lane onto Bishop Norton Rd. The has been an issue for a long time, more than a year.
