I came out of my apartment in Avalon Court and was driving towards the Riseholme Road roundabout on Newport at a slow speed. Avoiding a large Pot Hole on my left hand side I drove into another one on my right.

Broadway Close, 24th April
The pavement has just been replaced - thank you for this; it’s a massive improvement. However they had to replace some tarmac on the road which got broken. The repair hasn’t been quite finished properly leaving a hole that will get bigger from cars driving over it or frost damage. Could this just be finally filled and the job will be complete.

Latch on gate to dog run area broken., 24th April
This latch has been broken for some time and is held in place by a bit of wire. Spring loaded hinge/decent latch would be best solution.

Entrance/ exit to Avalon Court off Newport, 21st April
The signs have been placed in such a way that it has made the entrance a single land and if a car is waiting to get out a car cannot get in. This is making things wry difficult and the roadworks are set to continue for three more weeks. The placing of signs also needs to consider those less mobile and using mobility aids.

There are numerous potholes across the parking dip by the Co-Operatives and have been for some time, there are 5/6 of them, only getting deeper.

Outside Castle View Indian, 20th April
Hello- unfortunately I reversed into a bollard and removed it from the ground. I moved the broken/damaged bollard out of the way so not to cause harm to others. I asked the Indian if they had a cone to put over the hole which they didn’t so I couldn’t cover it over. Really sorry for any inconveniences caused. I did everything I could to minimise risk to others.
Unfortunately my sensors didn’t pick it up and was in my blind spot. Unfortunately I didn’t take a photo (due to embarrassment and a beer garden full of people throwing banter my way!)
Deepest deepest apologies again. It was a genuine accident! Will be an expensive takeaway I’d imagine!

One of the residents of Nettleton house 12-15 on Thurlby Crescent, is throwing bread out onto the green at the front, this could attract vermin and other unwanted problems.

Upper Long Leys Road, 19th April
From Burton Road traveling down Upper Long Leys Road and then down Long Leys Road as far as old hospital site. This was this morning so may have been reported to police. Road was very slippery when wet. It was so bad you could smell it as you drove along.
