Road drain outside no. 10 Farlesthorpe Road, 19th April
Following blockages of the exit of the street gully over the past years we have persistently reported this problem to your Highways dept. We are constantly flooded after rain due to the ditch which has not been cleared for years and involves us having to clear it ourselves. We are both pensioners with severe back problems who should not have to do this under any circumstances. As the Highways authority responsible for road drainage it is LCC's duty to maintain this drain, and once again we request this is done urgently.

Willoughby Rd Alford, 14th April
Although some potholes have been fixed in Willoughby Rd some potholes remain where the road has been dug up for pipes, cables etc. It's too dangerous for the public to measure the depth but judging by the tremendous thump the vehicle gets the hole is deep enough to upset steering let alone causing suspension damage. Another factor is if cars try to avoid potholes this in itself is dangerous as this road has many parked vehicles.

Number 7 and 8 Farlesthorpe Road, Alford, 31st March
The pavement is very restricted with the huge hedges. I even saw a lady with a double pushchair that had to walk in the road as she could get through. It’s even worse once there’s cars parked along there.
