I have reported the state of the road at Flaxmill on several occasions, some recent repair work has recently been carried out, some what randomly., 27th April
This is one of many badly damaged and dangerous sections on the road between Withern and Aby. Pretty well the entire length is an accident waiting to happen. This bend at Flaxmill could just be where that accident does happen. Repairs here have been sporadic and largely random. most recently at Flaxmill probably one in three potholes were repaired some of which had adjoining holes that were left unrepaired.

Customer states that there are two very large pot holes in this above area and they are so close together if you hit one you end up hitting the other. Customer states potholes are roughly 450 mm around approximately and half a metre wide, as well a, 8 inches deep.

Rose cottage, main road, 3rd March
Since the council resurfaced the road outside my property with "loose chippings" road noise and vibrations have increased dramatically. Lately this I feel is now severe as practically the whole house moves when a HGV or large vehicle passes, my enquiry is whether you can supply an accelerometer or equivalent to measure the said vibrations to ensure they are within tolerance. This winter has seen the onset of several cracks to the brickwork inside and out which are increasing in size therefore I'd like to pursue the case at some speed before further damage is done.

Woodland in between highgate farm and heatherdene, 22nd February
Woodland over knee deep in water, has been been all winter but now getting considerably worse, grass verge has gone and its flooding the road and both properties either side. We have had to rescue 2 vehicles after getting stuck and nearly ending up in the small pond which is now more like a lake. The water will sit there for months as the drains which run under the road to a ditch opposite are inadequate, no more than 5 inch across and totally blocked...could be solved so easily if somebody could just come have a look. Has been reported numerous times as fa's back as 2017, notice was served to the landowner but nothing has been done.

Woods in between Heatherdene and Highgate Farm, 12th February
Woods in between Highgate Farm, Heatherdene and then towards Great Carlton before the green lane are very over grown and have swallowed up the grass verge and are now encroaching onto the highway. This has been reported numerous times Council ref: 468882. The woods belong to Stephen Phillips who employed Greencuts for some remedial work but they were told not to do the road boundary as he believes its not his responsabilty. Stephen Phillips lives in Edinburgh. THE WOODS DO NOT BELONG TO HIGHGATE FARM OR HEATHERDENE please do not write to these properties and then mark it solved...its not!
