FIXMYSTREET IN LN11 9XP
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of LN11 9XP:
Opposite side of the road from the village hall, 20th April
As well as the overhanging hedges recently reported by someone else, the problem caused by the substantially increased amount of traffic and parked cars from both the school and nursery school (which operates out of the village hall) has increased the depth of the holes on the side of the road, making it increasingly hazardous to drive down South Street when the nursery school is opening up for the morning. It is unlikely that an emergency vehicle, such as an ambulance or fire engine responding to a life-threatening incident, would be able to get past the parked cars. Pot holes and hedges need fixing. Ideally the nuisance car parking at school and nursery school opening times too.

Hedgerow opposite village hall, 19th April
Overgrown hedgerow obstructing the lane and scratching cars. There are always cars parked outside the village hall. The hedgerow on the other side of the road is overgrown with brambles and hawthorn and it scratches the cars as we have to squeeze past the parked cars

Field side of road opposite White House Farm, 22nd February
Where the road outside ‘Touchwood’ is constantly flooded, this has lead to the side of the road starting to fall away. As a consequence the pothole is now around 2’ long and encroaches into the carriageway by about 12inches. Perhaps this can be addressed at the same time that the flooding issue is looked at (already reported and apparently scheduled for work?)
