Cherry trees in conservation area are dying - possibly due to disease or poor irrigation, 20th April
The limbs are dead and the two trees are in really poor shape. Possibly beyond help and need replacing. The ground is paved over and no water can get through to feed the trees. This is a conservation area and the trees are not being conserved!

Blocked Drain - Footpath into Recreation Ground, 12th October
The drain on the footpath running alongside the Baptish Church (Mill Lane) into Dragon Lane recreational ground is blocked and when it rains, it floods the footpath, which is well used. Please can you send a team out to clear it. Thank you.

Broken Bench on Junction of Merrylees Rd, 22nd February
The bench looks to have been driven into by a lorry. It is not under the ownership of the Parish Council. We believe it it LCC's and either needs replacing or removing, as it is a H&S hazard.

Road drain at wrong height, 10th December
The drain is too high, the road at the incorrect level for water to drain away. Consequently the roadside is covered in mud. This is not helped by farm vehicles dropping mud off which cannot get washed away . No evidence of street cleaning for over 2 years.

Why are the pavement gutter weeds not being lifted, I have witnessed this on Gilbert’s drive and many other roads in the village. This has been going on for some time. It makes the village look not cared for ., 25th August
I live in Newbold Verdon. No one has ever been around willow close where I actually live to remove the weeds in the gutters, we actually remove them ourselves as a goodwill gesture as we take pride in how the village looks but we cannot do this on the main roads. This needs to be addressed by yourselves.
