Pavement/footpath is barely walkable for much of the route along B4114 from LE9 6EY to Whistle Meadows., 31st March
This is the pedestrian footpath from Sutton in the Elms to Narborough and in many places, due to neglect & overgrown vegetation, the path is barely 1 foot wide. It is extremely dangerous for pedestrians due to close passing traffic traveling at speeds of 50mph. There is no footpath on the opposite side and so passing pedestrians are forced to walk on the highway.

Inappropriate Car Parking Blocks Pavement Preventing WheelChair Access, 28th February
The road markings, warning vehicle drivers not to block the drop down pavement, have perished and need repainting.
Blocking the drop-down means that wheelchair users, specifically, have no way of crossing the access road to proceed down Sutton Lane. There isn’t another pavement and the only way to proceed would be to retrace the pavement some 50yrs to the top of Sutton Lane and use the road. This is very dangerous on a busy stretch coming off Broughton Way.
All of the white lines along the top part of Sutton Lane have perished and require reinstating to ensure vehicles don’t park where they shouldn’t.

Traffic light causing confusion and accidents, 27th December
Traffic light sequence is causing concern, as well as accidents, near misses and public dispute as to why the occurrences are happening. Unclear signals as to when to turn right into broughton astley or left from opposite direction. May be more beneficial to have right funnel turn remain red and filter through light in use at all times rather than just busy times to reduce risk of accident and injury. Or better instruction on light sequencing and when to go with new road layout.
