ISSUE: We have been made aware of issues surrounding drugs and County Lines Activity in Coalville which have been identified to specific streets and addresses. This includes vehicle ASB and also persons attending specific addresses.
ACTION: Work with partners and enforcement operations planned to address the reported issues.
This includes proactive measures and work surrounding closure orders.

ISSUE: Reports of off-road bikes on green areas within the beat area causing noise nuisance and general ASB.
ACTION: We are engaging with partners to address this issue and seeking long term solutions.

nnIdentified subjects will be dealt with robustly with orders being issued when appropriate.

ISSUE: Repeated offences and offenders targeting town centre shops.
ACTION: On-going work by officers including plain clothes operations in the town centre are planned as well as working with security and CCTV.
Work continuing around retail radio and interaction with local businesses.

nn15/01/24 - Work continues with local business owners and retail crime packs. A number of shops have now been spoken with and crime prevention advice given.
Plain clothes operations continue within the town centre with the support of CCTV.

nn23/02/24 - Further interaction with local businesses and liaison with other force areas to progress plans for retail crime prevention.

nn21/03/24 - We have continued with efforts to engage the local businesses and have had a recent success due to the effectiveness of the retail radio system. As a result of effective communications a person was detained and has subsequently been charged with theft offences in the town.

nn04/04/24 - We continue to work with partners and will assist in the distribution of retail radio units which provide a direct link to police when incidents are reported.
