ISSUE: These are the crimes that we have noticed an increase in over the last few weeks. There has been an increase in residential burglaries on the 10 beat and a few on the 9 beat to accompany them. There has also been an increase in shop theft activity at the TESCO on Melton Road which is becoming a problem to the beat;
ACTION: -As on the 9 beat we will be monitoring the known suspects for shop thefts in the area and utilising CCTV to identify those responsible.
-We will be conducting high visibility patrols in the affected areas to deter perpetrators and instil public confidence.
-We will complete plain clothes patrols to identify and deal with those who are causing us the most harm.
-We will be holding beat surgeries and street consultations to help advise members of the public in keeping themselves and their properties safe. They can also address any concerns they may have to us. This will also help us to reach those who cannot access social media.
-We will be using the radio and social media to post about safety advice and crime prevention advice.
-We will be conducting leaflet drops in the affected areas to advertise crime prevention

ISSUE: These are the places identified for causing us the most harm in the area. The places listed are where reports of traffic offences
ACTION: -We will be conducting high visibility patrols in the areas mentioned to deter any ASB or criminal activity. This will also aid public confidence.
-We will also be completing plain clothes patrols in order to catch those causing ASB or criminal activity.
-We will be developing any intel received by the public or police in order to identify those causing us the most issues.
-We will be holding more frequent beat surgeries at the local TESCO store to discourage those who have been shoplifting to enter the store and deal with any perpetrators accordingly.

ISSUE: The reports of ASB from the area at the moment are reports of loud music being played from the cars
ACTION: -We are going to work as a team to arrange planned traffic operations in the areas effected by crime/ASB. These will be at various times and may be in uniform or plain clothes. We will also utilise the NPT team for support where needed.
-We will be conducting high visibility patrols to deter the behaviour and improve public confidence.
-We will be completing plain clothes patrols to detect those causing the most harm to the beat and dealing with them accordingly.
-We will be utilising multiple agencies where we can to educate
New Leicestershire Police priorities and concerns for this neighbourhood will be published here once they are announced by Leicestershire Police through the data.police.uk portal.
