ISSUE: ASB has been highlighted as an issue across the beat area through Neighbourhood Link by members of the community around Braunstone Town and Thorpe Astley. This concern is backed up by sporadic calls to Police concerning open green spaces in the area with youths using those locations inappropriately
ACTION: There has been a significant increase by a particular group of individuals of incidents of ASB. Members of this group have
been identified and we are working with our colleagues on the Braunstone Estate

ISSUE: Road Safety has been identified by local residents as a Priority around Braunstone Town and Thorpe Astley via Neighbourhood Link.nnNew Priority Identified for April-June 2024. Highway Obstruction. The wider Road Safety issue will continue to be tackled by the beat team but a new focus on Obstructions will now be the subject of our focus.

Vehicles seized for no Tax on behalf of DVLA- 2
Drivers arrested for drink/drugs offences- 1
Drivers reported for driving without a licence - 1
Traffic Offence Reports (inc speeding)- 9
nnA report made to PCSO Duane whilst on patrol by a local business
whereby they were trying to not pay for services resulted in a vehicle
being recovered for obstruction as well as persons being dealt with for theft offences. We also attended Millfield Primary
School and gave out some hi-visibility stickers for childrenu2019s bags which they really liked.
