Large damaged area of road, loose tarmac debris, 22nd February
Coming from Ridlington way to uppingham, on the left hand side of the road there is a large area of the road that the tarmac has come loose and created a dangerous area as its right on the bend. Witnessed a motorbike narrowly avoiding an accident in it yesterday. Other area of the road also full of potholes.

400mm dia pot hole at side of carriageway A47 East bound, on overtaking section, 0.5 m east of bus stop lay by, just after entrance to old A47 rd junction., 17th March
I reported this some weeks ago together with other potholes, it was not dealt with at the time, despite me getting e mails to say it had been. I had to move over as another motorist was in the overtaking lane in the other carriageway, my wheel went down the pot hole & has damaged the low profile tyre, it has a bulge on the side wall now and will need replacing (not the wheel luckily)

The footpath is located at the bottom end of Noel Lane, Top Road, Ridlington and leads through a wooden gate to the grass area on Main Street opposite the Village Hall. The footpath is old, narrow tarmac that is covered in green moss and is very slippery. The footpath leads to concrete steps leading from the higher level to the lower level of the tarmac road, Main Street. These steps are old concrete, steep and slippery. There is no hand rail.
