Watste Bin by public footpath on floor and broken, 16th April
A street waste bin at the edge of the Mill Farm entrance off the middle of Chaveney Road in Quorn has been pulled off its mount and laying with lid separate on ground.
Suspect this may have happened when the council’s verge contractor came today and mowed adjacent verges and that by the bin post.
Needs fixing of a risk of the bin or contents moving into road and incoming traffic.

Graffiti, 30th January
Today there appears to be 2 areas targeted with graffiti by a certain culprit CAVEY. 1. The grey electrical box on Loughborough Road between Farley way and One Ash Roundabout. The box is at the corner of Loughborough road and Dustmoor Drive and is covered at the front . 2. The metal and brick wall on Terry Yardley way A6004 between One ash island and the next island Allendale road. It is over the top of the railway line and is light green and white about 4 ft high CAVEY
Please can this mess be removed.

Pair of tied together boots hanging off overhead wiring, 21st November
There has appeared a pair of boots tied together and thrown over the wire cables which go over the road at the top of Farley Way just before junction. If they fall they could hit car below or person crossing the road. They are pulling on the wires and it is dangerous.

Flytipped stuff moved to edge of road from public foitpath, 16th May
The attached shows items that were previously dumped about 500 yds up the public footpath. Most of, but not all, of it has now been moved to the entrance to the footpath on the verge by the main Woodthorpe road. The concrete security barriers ( large pipes) have been moved further back and risks more vehicles driving down the track and dumping rubbish.

Fly tipping on public footpath between Woodthorpe and Quorn, 9th May
A pile of discarded plastic material, trays, sleeping bag, fitness mat and large roll of birthday wrapping paper strewn on signposted public footpath in countryside between Woodthorpe and Quorn around 500 yards from Woodthorpe entrance. Looks like car may have been used as one of the large concrete barrier pipes has been moved aside.

Tree overgrown over path, 26th January
An evergreen tree had grown over the path which makes it hard for people to pass without walking on the grass area. This has been especially bad lately with the ice as it's been extremely Skippy trying to walk around the tree.

Graffiti in Quorn, 26th September
Over the weekend Quorn has been hit by graffiti. It is in one area of Loughborough Road. 1. The wooden bus shelter on Loughborough road after the top of Farley way junction has white spraypaint all over it !. 2. The grey electrical box on the Loughborough road/Farley way corner has black writing on it. 3. The grey electrical box further up Loughborough road on the same side towards the A6 island also has black writing on it. It is near to the road entrance to the new houses. Please can this mess be removed.

Temporary lights, 11th August
These temporary lights don’t give enough time for cyclists. This is an incline and there is a bend in the road, I was half way though the road works when cars starting moving from the other direction. Why are cyclists not taken into account? Especially on a very popular cycling route.
