Large pothole, not very visible, 14th December
Caused 2 separate vehicles to have flat tyres in a 30 minute space (both waiting for cover together!). The pothole is about a foot long with sharp edges.
Uncertain how long it's been there, the other driver believes she hit the same one last week, but it's a particularly nasty one causing significant tyre damage.

Blocked drain causing huge puddle, 2nd August
There is a blocked drain on the corner by the church which after any rain causes a 5m wide, deep and dangerous puddle on the blind bend into the village. Vehicles are forced onto the opposite side of the road to avoid it, but cannot see what is coming in the other direction round the bend. Please send the cleaning team out to unblock the drain.

Hello, I work for Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust and look after a number of nature reserves. One of which, Loughborough Big Meadow has had a problem with cars crashing through the post and rail fence alongside the road. Is it possible to discuss this with someone or possibly have reflectors put up or armco barriers? I understand that some cars will always crash, but maybe some of those could be prevented., 13th November
Hello, I have described above what the problem is and was just wondering if reflective posts could be erected or armco barriers installed at strategic spots? There did used to be reflective posts but gradually these have disappeared. I estimate that 2 cars a year leave the road and demolish the fencing. It can be expensive as the culprits manage to remove their cars before we can get their insurance details. It would be great just to have a chat with someone as it is an issue that has been niggling us for many years. Hope you can assist, Regards Chris Hill

Deteriorated surface, 10th April
The road between the church and the 'coach house' is badly deteriorated. There is rutting, potholes and bumps where the top layer of the surface has been rubbed away. Driving over the surface can cause the steering of a vehicle to be erratic and may cause vehicles to leave their lane. It is unsafe to drive more than 5-10 mph along this stretch. This has been an issue since Jan 2020.
