Cars parked blocking the pavement, 21st February
There's a problem with people double parking and parking fully on the pavement from the vets on bradford Road to the junction of tranmere drive. I am currently using crutches and have struggled passed, including having to walk on the busy main road to pass a large SUV. It would be impossible for wheelchairs or prams. It's become a problem I would say since covid and I would guess that the parking spaces are being abused by people who work in the area rather than visiting clients, exacerbated since the coop/whitecross pub carpark introduced parking fines for long stays.

Downpipe of end terrace of Mount Pleasant disgorges onto pavement, 16th January
The downpipe from the roof of the end terrace of Mount Pleasant next to the road does not go into a drain, it just pours the water onto the pavement. This is a popular pavement used a lot by walkers. This area is also having issues with flooding further down the road, and this gutter won't be helping!

Pothole. 2ft wide, 1ft long; 4 inches deep, 11th December
Don’t know how long it’s been there but it caused my son to come off his bike in Saturday 9/12/23 causing injury. Another cyclist also came off within 30 mins breaking bike wheel.

Over parking / blocked street, 4th December
Victoria road is a cut through for local traffic: over the past 12 months increasingly cars are parking on the street to use the train station and even to take a cab to the airport. The non residents explain they are entitled to park where they want, but it leaves no space for cars to safely travel up the road. When an opportunity arises, they drive at speed. In excess of 40mph. In the last week there have been two accidents on the road.

Can parking daily very near dangerous junction, 30th November
A van parks daily very near the junction of Carlton Lane, Moor Lane/Town Street and Wills Gill. This junction is busy and difficult. The van blocks most of one side of the road (facing up the hill) and I am afraid there will be a head on collision one day as traffic needs to pass it but cannot see if there is traffic coming the other way or turning on to the road from Carlton Lane and Wills Gill. I have talked to the owner but they are not willing to move it.

Illegal parking Within 10 metres of a junction obstructing other drivers view Parking on a solid white line This is a commercial vehicle and what it’s gross vehicle weight is I am not sure, but there may be other laws that it us breaking - e.g, lights at night ( like you have to have on a skip)

Heavy Goods Vehicles Using Road When Unsuited., 19th June
Fully laden dump trucks are becoming more & more frequent on this road. The road itself is not designed for this kind of vehicle & as a result the road had just had quite a few major repair done on it. These vehicles are using the road as a shortcut to bypass traffic on more suitable roads & it should not be allowed to happen. The company names i have seen so far are Whitelocks & Edwards. Night flights leeds breadford airport, 26th May
Last night there was one flight after another coming in after midnight they pass the end of my street resulting in no sleep again last summer was bad enough but looks like this year could be worse this is having an effect on my quality of life its unreasonable to expect residents to put up with this

All the drains are full of water and leaves and flood the properties when it rains. All Moorway from Thorpe Lane, to Broadway., 18th May
The council cleaned only 1 drain when they attended. Did a good job but all the others are blocked with gunge, leacves debris etc. whenever it rains they fill up and flood the houses below them. All the roadside drains on Moorway, from Thorpe lane to Broadway, thanks.

Probable unauthorised obstruction on the highway, 14th May
Huge boulders on the highway near Heather Bank Barn on Hillings Lane, Menston.
These are obstructing free passage along the highway for walkers and causing a hazard for road users in this extremely narrow area of highway.
Surely they are an obstruction under The Highways Act (section 137?) And need to be removed ASAP.
