Cars and vans parking on double yellows and yellow zigzags outside school. Causing an obstruction for all children, the lollipop lady and other cars, 31st January
School have recently said anyone without a disabled badge can’t park in school grounds, so they have now started parking on double yellow lines and yellow zig zags which is also on the brow of a hill & where our lollipop lady stands. She is now unable to cross the kids safely, parents with prams are unable to get past on the path so they are having to go on the road again on the brow of the hill, we have confronted all the people parking in these places and they do not care at all. Please can we have some assistance in stopping this happening and help keeping the road outside our school safe for all children attending, recently we have had a few near misses with children and the poor crossing lady, & id hate for someone to be injured as some parents are too lazy to park else where and need to park on the doorstep of the school

Dangerous crossing for children since the departure of the crossing patrol, 23rd July
Since the crossing patrol retried, no replacement has been provided by Leeds City Council. An assessment was carried out by LCC, however this was done on one of the coldest days of the year, where the vast majority of parents drove their kids to school. A second assessment was carried out, but at this time the majority of parents have deemed the road to dangerous to cross, therefore hardly any children crossed. Since then, nearly all parents I speak to will not allow their children to walk to school, due to how dangerous the road is. I feel that if something isnt done, a child could be injured, or worse. At the other end of the village, on the same road, next to Kippax North school, there is a crossing, so I dont understand how an assessment has failed at this location, if LCC had deemed a crossing necessary on the same road.

Over grown trees with severe ivy growing, 14th May
The tree outside of my house on council land is growing excessively and is now causing shade in my back garden on a morning. It didn't use to do this and now is causing me a great deal of stress as I can no longer use the garden effectively in the summer month mornings. The tree is also experiencing a large amount of ivy growth around the tree which is beginning to cause concern. I have had the property developer look at this and he says that this appears that it could cause a problem.
