Street light not working, 22nd October
The street light is the old type and its just dimly flickering. It does not have a number but it is on Hillam Lane, opposite Ashfield Villas in Hillam. LS25 5HN. We are at the end of the village and only have 3 street lights so missing one really makes it very dark. It would be amazing if there was any possibility that it could be fixed by Halloween so all the kids are not walking down the street in the dark. We have no pavements either so it is rather dangerous. Many thanks.

Godsons coach parking in a dangerous place, 11th June
There is already a problem in this area with parked parked vehicles. I regularly cycle through here, at least two times the coach decided to pull up near to the junction of betteras hill road on hillam lane, i've have cars and vans come straight towards me. This morning I had a van coming straight towards me, I had to go into the side road to avoid the two other cars. It is a very dangerous place to pull up on corner, would be much safer near cross keys. There is also a problem with more cars parking along chapel street, alot of vehicles don't stop for me they also causing a danger..

6" X 8" approx hole suddenly has appeared on the footpath outside Elmet Cottage,the Square Hillam LS25 5HE., 26th March
Hole appears to be at least 2 feet in depth.
Definite danger to public walking and it appears to have a cavity below which could lead to a much larger hole?

Hazardous visibility, 13th March
Hi
There is extremely poor visibility for vehicles exiting Abbeystone Way onto Lumby Lane.
It is virtually impossible to assess oncoming traffic without edging out into the road. This has caused many near misses.
Vegetation needs to be cut back, or a convex mirror installed (or both solutions)
I’ve reported this issue to the council several times, without any action being taken.

Traffic cone on the roof of the bus stop, 7th January
Traffic cone has been thrown onto the roof of the bus stop in the last 24 hours. Believe this probably belongs to AB Scaff, Selby who had scaffolding erected at a property around 20 metres away and collected today. The location is Main Street, Monk Fryston outside the post office/village shop.
