The junction joining the A612 fron the A64. Traffic pulling out is a daily thing and it's only a matter of time before there's a major accident. The junction was changed a few years ago but is now dangerous and I have had a few near misses from impatient drivers pulling out to join the A612.

Misinformation on sign, 28th December
There are signs on the M1 saying that the A64 at Tadcaster is closed.
The road is not closed though- we have just been through. Think it has been left on from yesterday

The amount of litter strewn along the sides of the A64 is terrible. I know that the public should be more responsible for their litter, but it just needs clearing up.

The verges on the A64 between Tadcaster and the junction with the A1 are strewn with litter. I have never seen it so badly affected. Why is this not given a greater priority?

I drive to work from Leeds to York each day and see that litter is never collected from the side of the carriageway. There is lots of litter.

A van has hit the street sign and it needs realigning. It is not damaged but has moved in the ground and needs to be straightened up.

Path poor state or repair, 22nd March
Path full of moss and weeds has totally degraded surface of path. Each year horsetail weed covers it and path opposite side and degrades even more. Needs tidying or resurfacing now, very poor state and gets worse each year

Trash all along the road, 3rd March
The whole road from Ulleskelf to Tadcaster has been used as a litter bin. Cycling along it, there's a can of a bottle pretty much every metre of the journey. Please send someone to pick it up

Litter and debris all over verges, 25th February
The stretch of the A64 that runs along full length of Tadcaster is filled with rubbish on verges both sides of A64. Not only does Tadcaster have to tend with flooding but is also surrounded by litter. It has been like this for some time now and is appalling to see and terrible for wildlife.

Large amount of litter exposed after verge cutting, 16th February
The verge and bushes have been cut back and it has exposed a large amount of litter which is a total mess. On the other side of the road (in the layby) there is also amounts of litter and a great big piece of plastic which could blow onto the road and be a danger to vehicles

Service hatch in the road has dropped and traffic is making a noise, 15th December
The manhole on Main Street near the junction of West Milford Lane on the Southbound Traffic side of the road (headint towards Sherburn) has dropped and created an uneaven surface for the drain lid. Approx 25,000 weekly vehciles (source village Traffic count 2020) now clip this drain which is particularly noisey in the night.
