This is becoming a consistent problem. Cars blocking the pavement making it impossible for wheelchairs, prams etc.. to get past without going into the road. Cars are also struggling to get up the road due to the narrow gap. Double yellow lines are needed to stop this.

Cars parked daily across the pavement causing a dangerous hazard for pedestrians and disabled people., 10th January
This is an ongoing issue but is getting worse on a daily basis as no action is being taken. Illegal car parking on a daily basis, is making it impossible to pass with a pushchair or disability aid/ scooter. This was reported by worried pedestrians on 4th Dec, 2023, 14th Dec 2023, 28th Déc 2023, 1st Jan 2024 and 4th Dec 2024.

This car is always parked here blocking the entire pavement so pushchairs and wheelchairs are forced to cross on an already risky bit of road (blind corner and shop)

3 inch of standing water, 11th December
I get that it has been raining heavy but the design of this doesn’t allow the water to run off and it just collects, people are having to walk on the curb stones to get round, and if it freezes it will be extremely dangerous, clearly wasn’t correctly thought of when the flood defences were being installed.

People using cul-de-sac as car parking area, 1st September
People are increasingly using the end of the cul-de-sac as a parking area to go on walks, walk into town, or visit the retirement property nearby. This makes it difficult for me and my neighbours to park at our homes. I would like to request “residents only” signage, please, to try to alleviate the growing problem. Thank you.

Flood defences, 8th September
The little bridge thing on footpath when raining floods completely and you have to wade through quite a lot of water to get through, does not drain correctly, will be an absolute nightmare in winter for ice

This road surface is extremely slippy ., 7th September
This stretch of road is used greatly to gain access to the bridleways above it . My horse has slipped three times . The second time the horse slipped to the floor causing my partner to fall off , the third time a different horse slipped on all fours and grazed her knees. Its very dangerous as to a movie the slippy bit we have to ride in the middle of the road , the stretch of road is on a bend under trees so this makes it extremely dangerous.

The top road in Newhall Hall Park in the region of numbers 38 or 40 a yappy dog barks for long periods regularly. The dog must be stressed and the owner does nothing about about it. The interruption to peace and quiet is unacceptable and disrespectful to all the neighbours., 16th July

Parks biggest slide vandalised, 4th July
My niece cut herself whilst sliding on the parks biggest slide at 16:00 04/07/2022. The slide has lots of little sharp raised areas of metal all the way down. According to the local community page kids were reportedly witnessed throwing boulders down this same slide earlier in the week (we were unaware) the slide sadly is now dangerous to use and needs taking out of use until repaired.
