Road surface has major potholes that are a major health and safety issue. Nearly burst my tyre and has possibly split the wheel rim. He road in this area is a disgrace and someone is going to be killed if not urgently attended to

Broken surface and potholes, 20th January
Reported previously sometime ago. On that occasion repairs were made. The repairs cannot have been of sufficient quality as problem is back. Very dangerous for cyclists and motorcyclists.

Serious Pothole, 13th February
Serious pothole has developed in the road. It catches the offside wheels of traffic travelling west towards Skipton. It can’t be seen in the dark until it is too late to avoid an will cause damage to cars and may cause a collision if drivers are caught out by it or swerve to avoid it. This not good on a major trunk road with a 60 mph limit

Long grass completely obscures traffic heading down Hardisty Hill from cars pulling out of Meagill Lane, 27th May
Nearly had accident at the junction of Meagill Lane and Hardisty Hill, Blubberhouses. Long grass to the immediate right of the junction of Meagill Lane prevents drivers seeing traffic travelling down Hardisty Hill. Extremely dangerous, I was nearly hit side on as I had no choice but to pull out although I couldn't see anything beyond the junction.

Sinking manhole, 3rd January
At the bottom of Vernon Road, Laneshawbridge, where it meets Keighley Road. There is a sinking manhole cover makes a terrible noise whenever traffic passes over it and I also think this could cause an accident if it colllapses completely.
After the terrible storm last year there was a massive crack and raised tarmac next to this manhole and it has been slightly repaired. In my view lighting has struck the road and this has caused both problems. Please can you repair this as a matter of urgency before something really bad happens?

Multiple potholes, roadsurface breaking up, 28th March
The surface of the road approaching the A59 is broken up by numerous potholes up to 3 inches deep. The gradient is about 14% and is hazardous when breaking. It is very hazardous on a bike is there is no straight through path.
