Due to the recent works completing the repair of the bridge at the bottom stopped vehicles useing the byway , abd has allowed serious over growing restricting the width needed to proceed in many places, imediate attention required to pruning /cutting back of the adjacent trees and what seems like illegally planted !, saplings right on the edge that will only cause problems as the grow both by width and route mass , kindest regards for your cooperation

Caravan parked long term in layby, 21st April
Occupier of caravan reporting compression problems with vehicle so unable to tow caravan and cannot afford repairs. Local residents concerned as caravan in remote location, not secure and occupier has already been camping at location for approximately 3 months.

Diversion Loop and Incorrect Signage, 28th June
Following diversion takes driver on a 45 minute loop. The sign advises road closed, but in actual fact one can get to farnley without issues.
I needed to be 1 minute up the road, but as the road closed sign is across the road, I followed the diversion, and spent 25 minutes until eventually another road closed sign appears with a reverse diversion, finally following another route once again a road closed sign.
Signage is not clear the diversion is a further 2-3 miles up the road, the diversion is broken, and the result is costly and dangerous

Cans, cans and more cans, 1st April
This must be the most littered road in the UK, and most of it down to a Coors Light drinker who regularly drinks his beer and throws his cans out of his car window between Leathley and Pool. Not the Harrogate Council give a damn, as they no longer accept reports from FixMyStreet.

Guy that owns house at bottom of lane blocking route with logs !, and hole speared in bridge caused by the same guy !, he’s had warnings in past and is at it again

Road liable to flooding- NO WARNING, 24th October
A659 towards OTLEY, road is not lid and has not got Cateyes. Road was flooded on on one lane, Aqua planing lost control and rolled Van. The drainage is fully blocked as always, been like this for years! Highways or Council has to do something about it before one gets killed! I survived but spent 3 days in ICU!!!

Pothole, 20th December
Large pothole opposite my house at 36 millcroft estate ls21 1lt between my drive and the garages . This has been repaired a number of times and continues to lift again which causes damage to car wheels getting stuck when leaving or reversing out from the street

Outside street light not working outside 36 millcroft estate , Pool in Wharfedale ls21 1lt Only got repaired Tuesday and stopped working again this is becoming a regular thing and causing problems as my son is disabled and we can’t see outside when going out as it’s complete darkness as I live in a village

Health and Safety issue- The board walk slats are broken and cracked, 11th June
This is a health and safety issue. The boardwalk is by the wet land area (nature reserve) near Caley Crags. The boardwalk slats are broken and some are missing. This could be dangerous.

Wheelie bins constantly left out , 15 Church close leave the bins out to stop others parking outside their house, 15th March
15 Church close leave their two grey wheelie bin out , this is done to stop others parking outside their house , they have done this for over 6 months now .

Traffic light not working, 13th September
As you approach the junction from Bramhope travelling towards Harrogate and take the right hand side lane of traffic to head down Pool Bank, you need to wait for the green light for traffic bearing right. The average time to turn right is 10 seconds which is too short and sometimes it does not light up at all causing cars to take a chance which is dangerous and I have seen a number risky moves. The lights need to be changed to allow a reasonable and safe period of time for traffic turning right.
