FIXMYSTREET IN LS16 8AP
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of LS16 8AP:
Pothole, 19th September
I hit a pothole here a while ago. (23rd March 2018 around 0730). I didn’t realise at the time that I had a problem. Since then I started getting vibrations on the motorway. Subsequently, I’ve needed to change two wheels and two tyres because of buckles and tracking problems wearing the tyres and tyre wall breaches. I have receipts and pictures of my wheels/tyres. I revisited the site to photograph once I started getting problems and the holes had been filled.

Dangerous kerb on corner, 15th August
There are some kerbs on a 90deg bend that have been pushed by heavy vehicles and some that are seated correctly. The ones seated correctly now expose a dangerous sharp edge. I went around the corner slightly too sharp and the kerb tore a hole in my tyre.

The Avenue, North part up past Alwoodley community hall (on right side), 29th March
The part of the road "The Avenue", up past the right hand side (Alwoodley Community Hall) the road surface is very rough with potholes, very bumpy surface and would be good if it was resurfaced, the bottom half of the Avenue southwards had been resurfaced only recently (within 2 years)
Please could Leeds city council look towards or if they are planning to resurface this half of the road after the left hand bend past the valley on the left/on the right Alwoodley community hall.
Thankyou

Overgrown Hedges/Trees, 13th February
The Hedges/trees growing on the side of King Lane from row of shops to brow of hill are massively overgrown and encroaching on the road. This is now a hazard to road users especially with the amount of lorries that use this route and buses. its now almost impossible with a regular to safely use the lane alongside the trees without crossing the white lines and cannot be done with a lorry or bus (they have to use the other lane 2) its surprising there hasnt been an accident yet
