Immpassible public footpath - Sedgwick Rd.Natland, 7th July
Sides of the footpath are badly overgrown with grass, nettles on one side and hedge with thorns protruding on the other side, forcing pedestrians to walk in the road. School children use this route to get to local primary school and the traffic is a danger at the best of times. Please act before someone gets hurt.

3 metres of road missing! Beyond calling it a pothole as the road has disappeared. Very damaging to drive over., 13th January
The road is in extremely poor and dangerous condition. Large section of about 3metres of multiple deep potholes that are impossible to avoid and therefore you damage your car. Been there for months. Need to avoid this road now.

There's a pothole on the southbound carriageway on the inside lane between the 'Parking 1/4 mile' sign and the layby before Low Sizergh Barn Farm.

Bridge closure, 23rd April
This bridge has been closed for many months, probably in excess of six months. There is no reason why the bridge could not be used by pedestrians and cyclists. Cumbria CC are being far too overprotective of the public. The alternative routes for cyclists or pedestrians are considerable.

Large pothole 36" round in the southbound carriageway of the a591 directly in the drive line., 2nd April
This pothole is in the drive line, I have seen people swerving to avoid this which takes them into the outside lane and is dangerous. The pothole is large enough to cause damage to a vehicle.

There are a number of large deep potholes which span the road. these are impossible to get round and dangerous to cyclists. Are deep enough to cause damage to a car.

Multiple large unavoidable potholes, 7th June
There are multiple potholes here which have been here for some time, they are directly in the tyre lines of vehicles and very deep. They are unavoidable as they span the whole width of the road. They are full of gravel and the road is covered with gravel and debris from within the pothole. This is dangerous to drive over as a combination of uneven Road surface and gravel could cause loss of control, vehicle damage and injury to pedestrians.

Very dangerous surface on steep hill, 28th September
On the steep section joining Brigsteer Causeway to the junction with Crooked Gate and Low Lane, The whole road surface is a patchwork of surface levels. There are holes 3-4" deep and sharp ridges. There is also a lot of loose rocks (gravel would not be the right description as that suggests small stones). Given how steep the road is, this is extremely dangerous for all road users.

Very Poor Road quality, 25th January
On the way to the strickland arms pub for a family meal ( we had not been for a good few months) we found the road coverd with pot holes and a very unevan road surface, this has seemd have got worse and worse as it has never been a well looked after road and offten has pot holes, but comeing for this meal we realised just how bad it has gotten. This really needs to be sorted out for the bussinesses in the area and the public befor it causes an accident!!
