Waste and rubbish in public space, 21st February
I fully appreciate that this guy needs somewhere to live but over the course of the last few months the covered area between the rear of the market at the rear of the platform is becoming more filthy by the day. I appreciate it’s a public space but I would say it is verging on a health hazard and also breeding ground for vermin, there is wast food and containers, broken glass cigarette ends, pots & pans, waste batteries all around and it keeps spreading.
To top it off during the winter months I and a few friends have for the last 3 years met here to take shelter and exercise and on at least two occasions the tent resident has clearly been smoking cannabis which is really not ok.
As I started by saying I appreciate that the guy needs somewhere to live but this is a shared public space bordered by a market, theatre and pub all that sell food and attract public and tourists, maybe he can be helped to realise it’s a shared space and how to look after better

Green bin abandoned for last 2.5 years. Full and attracting rats ., 18th December
There has been a green bin full to the brim been abandoned across the road at the edge of the pavement opposite 10 Fairhaven Way for nearly 3 years now. It is in the way of us turning onto our drives and it is full so too heavy to move. It has no lid and is attracting rats. The council have put a sign on saying someone needs to pay for it to be taken away but it doesn't belong to anyone. The bin is broken and full- smelling and in the way. How can we get this all disposed of and taken away please?
