Dangerous and unsafe surface and hard shoulder, 16th August
A590 sections require surface improvements and hard shoulder widening to make travel safer for other road users- eg bicycles. Average speed check or speed cameras would also improve safe travel here. This is a very dangerous section of road where people drive like maniacs as I am confident the accident statics show. Please improve it.
Kind Regards

Unnecessary temporary traffic lights, 7th May
Temporary traffic lights have been installed around United Utilities work that partially encroaches onto the A590 at Tebay Lane Ulverston. These are causing long tailbacks in both directions delaying many hundreds of journeys. Whilst I accept that traffic lights may be necessary to protect the workforce, there is no work in progress. These traffic lights could have been stood down and simple signage put in place advising road users of a slightly narrowed lane in the Ulverston direction.

Dangerous cows on public footpath, 31st July
I am sick of trying to walk locally through public footpaths with my family and dog where they farmers insist on putting cows in that then chase you. I had to get the children to go off in front whilst I kept hold of the dog with a large piece of wood to keep them away. I have spoken to a local farmer who says only cows that arw ok with dog should be allowed in public footpath ways.
