Silted up cundies on Annfield Brae, 25th October
Greetings again from the Cults Hills Litter Pick! Whilst doing the litter pick at the weekend it became obvious that there is a big problem with the Annfield Brae cundies. There are about 11 cundies on each side of the road, On the east side, the 3 -4 nearest the bottom of the hill aren't too bad but most of the rest are up to the top with silt. I had a poke with my picker stick to see if it was just leaves but it seems very solid. On the west side it is curiously the very opposite with the cundies nearest the top of the brae "not too bad", but all the others full of silt. It will be a real shame if water starts to erode the new pavement.

New lamppost put in on private road inches in front of my house, 10th September
I live in a square in kings kettle which has been classed as a private road. There was a lovely old lamppost outside my house but it was to the side. The Council is in the process of putting a new lamppost in front of the house in a different position - inches from the house right in the middle of the window. It is en eyesore, the light will light up my bedroom, and I was not consulted in any way that this was going to happen. The road is private - has Fife Council any right to behave in this way. I would rather have no streetlight at all than this.

Potholes, 28th February
The full length of Bankton Park (west side), Kingskettle, is riddled with potholes that may be attributal to a collapsing drain runnning the full length of the road. This road is 'claimed' by the local council to be unadopted despite the fact that the whole of Bankton Park receive the same council services (Lighting, bin collection etc) AND the remainder of the same street (Banton Park) IS apparently adopted. This, along with the fact that it was the local council that tarmaced this road from end to end some years ago, not only fails to answer the question about why the west side of BP remains unadopted, but as to why these potholes, which are becoming more and more serious, are not being rectified, given that the damage is in the main being caused by the council's own bin collection trucks, which surpass virtually anything else that uses Bankton Park (by weight and size).
