Conifers at end of Main Street, 10th August
There are very tall conifers on the grass area at end of main st, which I think are encroaching the house they are next to. I also feel they are blocking out light to my back garden. In high winds I fear they are unstable. Also they are an attraction to children who try to climb to the top of them. I think they should either be cut right down or given a very severe pruning. I also suggest if the are cut down. The trunks could be made into a bench/ seating area.

Potholes surface damage, 21st March
The A915 west, from the Standing Stone towards Kirkcaldy, has become quite dangerous to drive due to the surface damage. This appears to be where loads of tarmac have been poorly laid at joints during the recent total surface renewal. Drivers are now swerving to avoid the damaged surfaces. An accident is just waiting to happen. It is disgraceful that the surface was totally renewed less than 18 months ago, and must have cost a fortune. The Roads Civil Contractor responsible should be made to make good the road repairs with urgency.Surely there must be a policy or guarantee of wear in place. This is a busy stretch of road with quite heavy traffic. It is only a matter of time before an accident occurs.
